Nes-Tech Sales and Service
Nes-Tech Sales and Service opened in 1998 as a secondary farm occupation to supplement the farming income. Mark started out offering automotive service and the installation of snow removal equipment. Shortly after, sales of snow removal equipment was added, and in 2005 the business expanded to include zero-turn mower sales and service. As the business grew, additional staff were brought on to help manage the workload. By 2018, Nes-Tech had grown beyond a secondary farm occupation, leading to the decision to seek a new, permanent home.
Perth Tire & Auto
Perth Tire & Auto opened in 1988 and was originally located on Lorne Avenue. The business quickly outgrew that location and in 2000 moved to its current home at 38 Humber Street. After a long and successful run, the original owner retired — Peter in September 2020, having spent decades serving Stratford drivers alongside a dedicated team of experienced technicians. At that time, Mark, who had worked there many years earlier, purchased the business, completed renovations, and brought Nes-Tech Sales and Service to its new home.
Combined Businesses of Nes-Tech Sales and Service and Perth Tire & Auto
In September 2020, Nes-Tech Sales and Service and Perth Tire & Auto came together under one roof. The experienced Perth Tire & Auto team of Jake Debus, John Patterson, and Mike Debus continued to provide trusted automotive and light truck repair as well as tire service, with Nick Braby and Guy Morden rounding out the combined team across both divisions. Mark's son Corey joined as a technician, with hopes of one day carrying on as a second generation owner. We look forward to many more years of serving our customers, building on the core values of honest work at a fair price.
Perth Outdoor Power +
In September 2025, the outdoor power equipment division took another step forward with the opening of a dedicated facility at 51 Griffith Road in Stratford. Outdoor power equipment had long been an important part of the Nes-Tech family, but operating both divisions under one roof meant compromises on space, focus, and the level of service each deserved. The move to Griffith Road changed that. With a space of its own, newly branded Perth Outdoor Power + is fully dedicated to the sales, service, and parts side of outdoor power equipment — from Stihl and Toro to Scag, Walker, and beyond. Customers visiting either location get the benefit of a team that's fully focused on their needs, without the distractions of a shared operation.
It's the next chapter in a business that started on a farm in 1998 — and a sign of how far it's come.
