When you connect to the control unit of the machine for the first time, you can enjoy access to additional data, such as speed information, for evaluation in the STIHL connected Portal. In combination with the integrated real-time clock, this ensures that you can benefit from precisely recorded, reliable data, even independently of the synchronisation frequency. The additional evaluation options help increase what you know about the use and condition of your devices, improve the planning of service activities, form the basis for optimizing the utilisation of your fleet and increase the efficiency of all your activities.
The integrated button and a practical LED enable you to check the status of your power tool by pressing a button directly on the tool, enabling you to see immediately whether maintenance is due or if an error is occurring. This prevents device failure at the point of use and also makes you less dependent on your smartphone. The button can also be used to check for issues such as a blunt blade during use, which can be linked with further information in the STIHL connected app and viewed by colleagues in the workshop before the device is brought back in the evening.
