• 3.3L (202cu. in.) Yanmar Tier 4 Final Compliant turbo-diesel engine, 72 HP (53.7kW) @2500 rpm, 206 lb. ft. (279 Nm) torque @1625 rpm, B20 diesel compatible.
• With the ability to mow widths ranging from 57" (145 cm) to 192" (487 cm) the Groundsmaster 5900 has the flexibility necessary for nearly any mowing need.
• Automatically adjusts the mower’s ground speed for the cutting conditions.
• Belts transfer power more efficiently than hydraulic motors while adding a layer of protection against hydraulic failures. Large diameter spindle housing dissipates impact loads, and dual tapered roller bearings last up to six times longer than ball bearings.
• The SmartCool™ system prevents over-heating with auto-reversing cooling fans.

The Groundsmaster® 5900-D rotary mower offers an impressive 16' (4.88 meter) cutting width for making quick work of even the largest jobs. Equipped with a 72 hp (53.7 kW) diesel engine, the 5900-D is powerful and efficient. The onboard InfoCenter™ provides diagnostics to identify potential maintenance issues.
